Honorary Consul

Vytas Babusis was appointed as the Honorary Consul for Italy in 2021. Mr. Babusis has been blessed with a richly varied working life domestically as an entrepreneur in environmental consumer products and renewable energy production but now divides his time between a family filbert farm and legal practice, and internationally ending as an English teacher in Italy starting his own school for youth after being national service manager for the largest English language teaching company in Italy. A passion for Italian culture, food, language, and people providentially led to this honor of facilitating the building bridges of experience and opportunity in business, culture, travel, and tourism between Italy and Oregon.
