Oregon Consular Corps Scholarship Fund

The Oregon Consular Corps Scholarship Fund is an Oregon nonprofit corporation established to provide scholarships for junior and senior students in international studies at participating Oregon universities and colleges. Presently, twelve scholarships are awarded annually to meritorious students at Lewis & Clark College, Oregon State University, Portland State University, University of Oregon, Pacific University and University of Portland. Beyond annual scholarships, the goal of the fund is to build an endowment to support scholarships into the future for an expanded student population. The principal sources of funding come from the annual Celebrate Trade gala sponsored by partners from state and local government and businesses, and from charitable gifts to the endowment. Oregon Consular Corps Student Scholarship Recipients for 2024

The slideshow above is from our reception to honor the 2024 Oregon Consular Corps scholarship recipients. The reception was held at the University Club of Portland on February 21, 2024. OCC was honored to host the scholars, their families and guests, the presidents of L&C, PSU, and U of P, as well as our Celebrate Trade gala sponsors. Each student was introduced by their university president or faculty member. It was insightful to hear from the scholars about their plans and what the scholarship means to them. What an impressive groups of student scholars in 2024!

General criteria & considerations include:

Accepted into International Studies/International Affairs/Global Studies (or equivalent) major
Junior class standing or higher
Full-time student status during the academic year of the award
