Amy Nguyen is the President of Dragonberry Produce Inc., an international trading company for agricultural production for domestic and foreign markets located in Canby, Oregon.
In 2004, Amy founded Dragonberry on the values of respect and responsibility to her stake holders with the desire to preserve the environment through the spirit of partnership and community.
In 2013, Dragonberry built the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building for produce distribution in Oregon.
Dragonberry continues to drive Amy’s passion for global trade by promoting the domestic export in the Western States to overseas markets and the importing of Vietnam agricultural production. Dragonberry is one of the largest importers of dragonfruits from Vietnam.
In 2015, Amy worked to help pass a new chemical tolerance law for dragonfruits under the United States Environmental Protection Agency to help prevent plant disease.
Under her leadership, Dragonberry was recognized as the recipient of the “2020 Oregon Consular Corp Global Trade/ Mid-Size Business Award” for global engagement in bringing high value to both the domestic and international markets.
Born in Vietnam and a long-term residence of Oregon, Amy is a graduate of Eastern Oregon University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. She speaks fluent Vietnamese and has studied French and Spanish.
Amy embraces lifelong learning with emphasis on bridging relations with business and the governments of Oregon and Vietnam.
